The amino acid chain comprises AKG, which is a combination of the amino acids L-Arginine, Glutamine and OKG (which is Ornithine alpha-Ketoglutarate), or a combination of the amino acids Ornithine and Glutamine. Ornithine and Alpha-Ketoglutarate can be branched together because they are both precursors to Glutamine and L-Arginine within the body. Can I Just Take Standard L-Arginine to Boost Nitric Oxide?
The reaL-AKG Matraxol Technology in Oxegen AKG form a complex containing L-Arginine, Glutamate, Succinyl, Coenzyme A and other nutrients. Unlike standard Arginine that is sometimes taken to improve Nitric Oxide production, only Oxegen AKG utilizes reaL-AKG Matraxol Technology that is bound in a neutral ionic state, resulting in a superior form of Arginine Alpha Ketoglutarate (AKG).*

Can I take Oxegen AKG if I'm currently Taking Thyroid Medication?
No. As both thyroid medications and Oxegen AKG's reaL-AKG Matraxol Technology can affect blood pressure, resulting in unhealthy blood pressure levels. Combining the use of Oxegen AKG with thyroid medication is not recommended.*
Can I take Oxegen AKG with Sildenafil Citrate or Other Sexual Medications?

What is the Correct Dosage for Oxegen AKG?
Oxegen AKG must be taken on an empty stomach either a half-hour before meals or an hour or more after eating, in accordance with the dosage chart. For best results, it is recommended to drink eight (8 oz.) glasses of water daily. Do not consume foods for at least 30 minutes before, or 30 minutes after, taking Oxegen AKG. Do not take servings after 3:00pm. Although Oxegen AKG contains no stimulants, it may keep you awake.*
For Athletes: If you are weight training or exercise frequently for sport or competition, drink at least eight (8 oz.) glasses of water on the days you don't train and ten to twelve (8 oz.) glasses on the days you do train. It is important to maintain your complex carbohydrate intake above 40% of your total daily caloric intake.*
Oxegen AKG utilizes reaL-AKG Matraxol and SurSorb Sustained-Release technologies to help ensure its increased effectiveness – enabling you to take only the minimum dosage to realize the maximum benefits. When you first start using Oxegen AKG, begin with the MINIMUM recommended dosage from the dosage chart. After 7 days of continuous use, you may increase to the maximum recommended dosage. Oxegen AKG is allergen free of yeast, corn, soy, wheat, sugar or other sweeteners, artificial flavors, colors or preservatives and is manufactured to GMP standards. Store at controlled room temperature between 59°F and 86°F to maintain freshness. Do not refrigerate. This product utilizes Tamper-Evident packaging. Do not use if safety seal around bottle cap or printed inner seal is missing or broken.
Are there Consumer Warnings for Oxegen AKG?
Yes: Keep Out of the Reach of Children. Do not take if you are under 18 years of age. Do not use if you are pregnant or nursing, if you are at risk of or are being treated for diabetes or low blood pressure. Consult your healthcare professional before use if you are being treated for high blood pressure, diabetes, liver, thyroid, psychiatric disease or taking sildenafil citrate. Use this product with caution if you have renal or hepatic failure or have a history of cold sores. Caffeine or ephedrine based products may reduce the effectiveness. Do not use with products that contain Ephedra, as they may act as a vasoconstrictor, reducing benefit. Do not take your dosage after 3:00pm. Although this supplement contains no stimulants, it may keep you awake. High doses of arginine may be toxic and overuse may cause diarrhea, nausea, headache or allergic reaction.
