FlexProtex Ingredients
Glucosamine, Boswellin and Curcumin
FlexProtex contains NAG (N-acetyl-glucosamine), which is a very expensive form of glucosamine that isn’t readily available on just any supermarket shelf. There are two other commonly used forms of glucosamine on the market… glucosamine sulfate and glucosamine hydrochloride. Neither of these forms is used in the FlexProtex product.
Nutrucea’s decision to use the N-Acetyl form was based on reports of insulin resistance developing in users of the sulfate form. The stabilized rice bran that makes up the base of the FlexProtex is made from the brown part of the rice that’s removed when rice is milled from brown rice to white rice. This delivery system for FlexProtex is a most nutrient dense delivery system. Stabilized rice bran is rich in polysaccharides, which help to synthesize collagen in the body. Rice Bran is additionally rich in phytosterols, which contain anti-inflammatory properties.*
Two other natural Cox-2 inhibitors, boswellin and curcumin, are also in the formula. In addition, FlexProtex is rich in a number of minerals and trace minerals that facilitate the utilization of other parts of the formulation in the body.
Finally, MSM has been blended into the FlexProtex formula to compliment and enhance the product’s results by assisting in the reduction of inflammation and increasing elasticity and flexibility in the joints.* This ensures a better range of motion and also helps to limit damage as a result of injury.

Most nutrition from the rice kernel is contained in the rice bran, the outer 10% of a brown rice kernel that is removed during the conversion of brown rice to white rice. Often the rice bran is removed and used as animal feed or dumped in landfills. Due to the short time period and expense to reap the rice bran for consumption, it has been utilized little as a human food source.
